This new drawing went on a RATS EYES poster.

I know a lot of people are on Facebook so if you prefer to follow what I’m up to that way you can go “like” me over there.
The Psykhe art show at Queen Bees comes down today. The Aesthetigeist at LeStat’s show goes up today. March is booked at the Thumbprint Gallery. Good stuff.
I will be showing a few new pieces with the Aesthetigeist Art Collective the whole month of February at LeStat’s Coffee Shop in the University Heights neighborhood in San Diego. The opening reception is on Saturday the 5th. I will be in attendance from 5-6pm. Here are a couple of shots of my pieces for the show, I painted with coffee on both of these. More info on the show HERE.
These are really fancy. Prints on paper in the store and pricing info on the canvas edition (only five will be printed) coming soon. Sign up for the newsletter for first release info.

Happy New Year. Old windows in this house are letting the unusually cold (for San Diego) winter air ooze in and I am sporting a knock-off Snuggie® with paw prints and listening to Rats Eyes to combat the chill as I type this. Not a pretty picture, but I digress. Last year I really experimented with how I create art and explored the reasons why I create art in the first place. This led to a year of making more art than I ever had before. I had a solo show, participated in a handful of group shows, sold over a dozen pieces, got art published in a magazine, joined a local art collective, met many talented artists, and gave away some paintings to some really great friends and family. Last year was the best year of my life in many ways and if my calender for the first couple of months of 2011 is any indication then next year is going to be crazy for me. I am participating in two art shows planned for January and two more lined up for the following months. First up is…
The very first prints of my paintings are available for preorder now. Early birds get the low numbers and these are extremely limited. More info in the prints section.

Also, the last copy of this Labyrinth art print is available HERE.

I am really excited to have my Mooney Suzuki concert poster published along side a bunch of amazing artists in the newest edition of the High Times Magazine. A big thanks goes out to Bobby Black for including me in this rad article which highlights marijuana imagery in contemporary concert posters.

Burning Of Rome "With Us" Sneak Peek
I finished the painting for the front and back covers for the upcoming The Burning Of Rome album. Here is a little peek. Those dots were all made with a toothpick, placed one-by-one. I hope people will be picking this album on vinyl when it comes out, to check this out in all it’s full-sized glory.
